First Place!

Ok... I am still on cloud nine.  Caitlyn had her first track meet today with the Green Gables Geckos.  It was a meet with most of the Elementary schools in the area.  She ran the 50M dash and rocked it.  I tried my hardest to take good pictures, but as you'll see when she took the lead (and won the race) I stopped taking pictures and simply cheered my loudest.  I was and am so so so proud!

We celebrated this year simply by going out to dinner at the Indochine in Tacoma. 

The food was amazing, but the company was better.

Here's to many more years.

Daddy & Daughter Dance

Caitlyn came home from the dance and her and Dad showed me all the moves that the girls and their Dad's did.  It was pretty cute.  And since I was a little (or a lot) under the weather, Ashton and I celebrated my eating ice cream on the couch and watching a movie.  

December 24th

Pixie brought us breakfast from the North Pole and also laid out the Jammie's I got the kids. It was our last morning with her. This year was a blast! See you next year, Pixie. Safe travels.

December 23rd

Apparently our elf, Pixie, thought it would be funny to hang our underpants on the Christmas tree. Caitlyn actually woke up in the night and heard Pixie rummaging through her drawers! She was so excited to share this with us. Only one more day until little miss Pixie returns to the North Pole.

December 22nd

Oh boy... Our elf is getting naughty. The kids woke up to find the elf had graffitied their bathroom with words like Fa La la la la and Elves Rock. I had to wake up early to be at church to help decorate the Christmas trees and while I was there the kids had woke up found the elf and somehow convinced Ashley to open up one of his gifts that we had wrapped the night before. I cannot believe he let them convince him. I came home and Caitlyn told me all about it. Pretty hilarious!

December 21st

The elf must've been pretty tired last night after her travels to the North Pole. Probably lots of last minute preparations for the big day. Looks as though she gathered a few things from around the house that I had brought home from work from local vendors. Thank you local vendors for sponsoring tonight's visit from our elf

December 20th

The elf brought a few small holiday arts and crafts for the kids and chocolates for Babcia. Love her.

December 19th

Looks like the elf planned a sleepover.

December 18th

Woke up this morning to find our elf fishing. Looks like she caught one. We also got to spend some time with my nephews, Brayden and Kellen today. We watched the Elf on the Shelf movie on tv. It was so magical.

December 17th

Pixie must be real tight with Beth's and Tiffany's elves cause I saw they spelled out messages to their kids too. Those elves are sneaky!

December 16th

Enough with her generosity. Pixie decided to eat most of the candy from the kids advent calendars. Ashton wasn't very happy to find this. Caitlyn told him she would share what she had left.

December 15th

Pixie was extra generous this weekend. She brought both the kids new winter jackets and gloves. The temperatures are getting low and Gram, Pap, and Auntie took Cait and Ashton to Enchanted Village with lights. They had a blast.

December 14th

Pixie must've known Friday is movie night at our house. She brought us a new elf movie to watch.... And she made her own popcorn.

December 13th

Pixie must be getting a little home sick cause she spent the night in the freezer making snowmen. Caitlyn looked high and low for Pixie. Thank goodness she thought to leave a few snowballs right outside the freezer so she could be found.
