Addendum...
to my previous post... After I finished that last post, I went and checked on Caitlyn. She managed to get back in her crib all by herself with her pants and diaper off. I simply smiled and told her that I was going to the bathroom and then I would come back and get her out. Instead... as I was on the toilet... Caitlyn came rounding the corner... she sat on her toilet, tinkled, and then we both washed her our hands. I put a fresh diaper on her and put her back in the crib and went downstairs to call my mom to tell her this very funny story. Afterwards, I came back upstairs and found Caitlyn outside her crib again pounding on the door with her diaper off and her pants on inside out. Seriously... she never ceases to amaze me! I will now give up on nap time for today.

Oh dear...too bad you didn't have a video monitor because that could have been quite funny! Maybe put her crib mattress on the floor?
This story had me cracking up...but a little nervous at the same time, knowing my day is coming too! I like Tiffany's idea of the mattress on the floor...or maybe it's time for a big girl bed! Good luck!! :)

I wish I had more BTDT for you but mine NEVER climbed out of the crib even though she was able...I probably would have freaked!

I recently switched my son, Case, out of his crib and just put his mattress on the floor. He was a champ and just sleeps there now. I put all his toys, garbage can, etc... up so he couldn't get into anything. I also lay down with him for a couple minutes. Good luck!
PS - any potty training tricks to share with us?!?!
